Jakob Webnet: a flexible system with distinctive elasticity.
The high-quality Jakob Webnet mesh system isn’t manufactured with knotted or crossed ropes, but rather with stainless steel ropes laid in parallel pairs and secured in offset sleeves. The net construction therefore has characteristics that are rather like an accordion, with great elasticity and flexibility but also with great strength.
The combination of mesh size, (which is variable, starting at 20mm) and rope diameter (options of 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm and 3.0mm) determine the function and aesthetics of the system.
The new sleeveless-Webnet option provides even greater transparency and airiness, with comparable mechanical properties – achieved through a plaited-rope node constructions.
The appearance of the system can be further customised by the application of special coatings.
Extremely durable and weather-resistant, Webnet requires almost no maintenance.
